Zachary was welcoming and polite, however when taking my car in for it’s very first oil change that should be included in the up-charged oil change warranty that I purchased just a few months ago… I did not expect a $575.00 bill. I was told my “oil change package” would be in the system. Obviously was not! I looked and felt stupid. I was told at least 5 times that the warranty was different from the upgrade to get the oil changes. As a female, I purchased this car myself and know what I purchased. Zachary was kind enough to take the oil charge off as a courtesy to satisfy my argument, but being that I did purchase the package for oil charges with my vehicle? I would’ve continued to fight this anyway even after the fact if necessary. I don’t like to be questioned, especially when I am confident that I do know what I am talking about. Also, the other charges for brake system flush recommend at 30,000 miles should have been done if necessary prior to vehicle sale since I purchased it from a Toyota dealership with over 32,000 miles on it. Fuel induction service? Same! If necessary at 30,000, it should have been done and not my problem and not on my dime. If these were not deemed necessary then I do not like to be swindled. I agreed to the Toyota recommendations, paid my money, and left. However, I do not plan to ever go back. I’m certain Zachary is just doing his job, and my issues are probably more a Toyota Dealership problem not transferring the correct paperwork to where it needs to be. Zachary even called the other dealership and apparently they found nothing?? I have my flash drive for proof, as you do not get paperwork upon purchasing a vehicle anymore. I didn’t think I needed to print off my Toyota Warranty for Toyota to see what I purchased from Toyota themself. As far as the additional work that needed to be done? If it was something necessary, the Certified Toyota Dealership should have taken care of this prior to the sale of the car. So I didn’t leave happy.
